Для того, чтобы зайти в настройки WiFi роутера Edimax, Вам необходимо воспользоваться обычным Веб-браузером — Хром, Опера, Internet Explorer или иным другим. В адресной строке, где Вы обычно пишете запрос для поиска или адрес нужного сайта, необходимо ввести IP Вашего маршрутизатора Эдимакс — 192.168.2.1 без «www» или «http://». Вот так:
Либо его доменное имя — edimax.setup. Вот так:
После этого нажимаем на клавишу «Enter», ждём пока загрузится веб-конфигуратор устройства и появится его стартовая страница или запрос авторизации, где необходимо будет ввести логин: admin и пароль: 1234. Если данные для авторизации верные — Вы попадёте на статусную страницу, где отображается информация о текущем состоянии роутера:
Если же вдруг при попытке входа на edimax.setup или через http://192.168.2.1 пароль 1234 не подходит, то причиной является то, что пароль по-умолчанию был уже изменён ранее, либо имеет место быть программный сбой в работе аппарата. В обоих случаях выход только один — выполнить сброс параметров конфигурации к заводским параметрам. Для этого необходимо воспользоваться специальной кнопкой Reset, которая расположена на задней части корпуса.
При включенном питание необходимо скрепкой или иголкой нажать на Ресет и подержать кнопку в нажатом состоянии секунд 5-10, после чего отпустить. Далее уже маршрутизатор загрузиться вновь, но уже с чистым заводским конфигурационным файлом. Имейте ввиду, что после этой операции требуется заново выполнить настройку роутера Эдимакс для подключения к Интернет и работы беспроводной сети Вай-Фай.

Настройка системы бесшовного роуминга
Настройка системы Edimax Pro + бесшовный роуминг
Инструкция настройки сделаны на прошивке 1.8. На данный момент это новейшая прошивка. Тут контроллер системы на точке доступа WAP1200, если будете устанавливать контроллер на других ТД, настройки тоже самые. Если будете настраивать через APC500, тогда не надо менять режим ТД на контроллер.
Так по шаговая настройка:
Подключил ТД WAP1200, посмотрел в меню маршрутизатора какой IP адрес она получила (DHCP сервер — маршрутизатор).
Набрал IP адрес на веб браузере и запросили вести логин и пароль. По умолчанию логин: admin, пароль: 1234.
Зашел в меню ТД и первое надо пройти в меню Local Settings и поменять режим ТД на контроллер.
Тоже включаю Self AP Management Mode чтоб точка доступа тоже раздавала Wi-Fi. И нажимаю Apply. Так сейчас точка доступа контролирует систему и тоже раздает Wi-Fi.
Сейчас можем подключать остальные точки доступа. По умолчанию они сами найдёт в системе контроллер и подключиться к нему. Если не подключается тогда можно зайти в меню ТД и в ручную поменять режим на Managed AP mode:
Сейчас начинаем настройку системы. На ТД которая контроллер нажимаем на Zone Plan и либо загружаем наш план либо перетаскивает ТД чтоб было похоже на наш план и тогда нажимаем кнопку SET. Это делаем для того, чтоб потом можно было включить Auto-Pilot.
Сейчас нажимаем на NMS Settings и тут будет главные настройки. Первое, надо создать новую группу AP Group:
Открывается настройки, и мы настраиваем систему. Вот скриншоты для минимальной настройки. Введем имя сети, логин и пароль администартора.
Вот тут настройки Радио, тут аккуратно нужно сделать настройки чтоб потом все работало.
Сейчас самом внизу, все точки доступа из группы System Defaults перетаскиваем в новую группу. И нажимаем Save & Apply.
После настройки окно NMS Settings будет выглядит так. Уже появиться новая группа. У нас она называется Edimax test.
Сейчас настройки Роуминга. Для этого нужно настроит WLAN. Надо создать новый WLAN и тоже Новую WLAN группу. Нажимаем на кнопку ADD.

И тут настройки WLAN Group:
Нажимаем Save & Apply. И сейчас идем настраивать роуминг. Тут больше настроек, нужно ввести длинные ключи.
После этого, настройки нужно применить на нашем AP Group, так идем назад на NMS Settings, выбираем нашу AP группу (которую только что создали, у меня она называется Edimax test) и нажимаем кнопку Edit.
Откроется настройки, прокрутите страницу вниз до Bandsteering, включите Bandsteering и тогда в Profile Group Settings вам нужно выбрать WLAN группу которую мы сделали. Как показано в низу.
Нажмите Save & Apply и все. Ваша система с бесшовным роумингом и тоже bandsteering работает.
