Настройка и пользование

Отличительная черта Airport Extreme — это простота и доступность в настройке. Производители постарались на славу, чтобы вы могли не заморачиваться по поводу того, как установить роутер, и начать им пользоваться.

Поэтому для настройки нужно выполнить всего несколько следующих действий:

• Начать работу с маршрутизатором Airport Extreme дозволено без каких-либо программ. После того как вы включите роутер и Wi-Fi на любом устройстве, он найдёт автоматически созданную сеть, которая отобразится в списке подключений.
• Когда вы увидите в списке соединение Airport base station, выберите его и в появившемся окне введите новое имя пользователя и пароль для подключения — последний особо важен, так как благодаря мощному сигналу Wi-Fi к сети могут пытаться подсоединиться большое количество посторонних.
• Через несколько минут настройки вступят в действие, и вы можете пользоваться интернетом через Airport Extreme.

Для детальной настройки, изменения параметров и внесения дополнительных данных используйте приложение Airport Utility, которое устанавливается на любые устройства Apple, следующим образом:

• Запустите программу, после чего перед вами появится меню выбора действий — вы можете создать новое подключение, редактировать существующее соединение с сетью.
• В разделе Базовая станция вам доступны функции изменения названия сети и пароля.
• В меню интернет вы можете ввести все данные для подключения — к примеру, если оно работает через протокол PPPoE, где нужно вводить информацию из договора от провайдера.

• Раздел Сеть предназначен для более точной настройки параметров подключения — активации или отключения DHCP, протокола NAT.
• В Беспроводной сети вы можете изменить название подключения, установить пароль и включить использование отдельной точки доступа для гостей.
• Ещё одна интересная особенность — функция установки длительности соединения для беспроводных клиентов.

Последний раздел Диски предназначен для отображения информации о внешних накопителях, подключённых к роутеру.

Последнее, что нужно упомянуть об установке и настройке Airport Extreme — он самостоятельно обновляет прошивку, и это делает пользование ещё более комфортным.

Description

When connected to an Ethernet network, the Express can function as a wireless access point. The current model allows up to 50 networked users. It can be used as an Ethernet-to-wireless bridge under certain wireless configurations. It can be used to extend the range of a network, AND/OR as a printer and audio server. The model introduced in June 2012 includes two Ethernet ports: one WAN and one LAN.

The original version (M9470LL/A, model A1084) was introduced by Apple on 7 July 2004, and included an analog–optical audio mini-jack output, a USB port for remote printing or charging the iPod (iPod shuffle only), and one Ethernet port. The main processor of the 802.11g AirPort Express is a Broadcom BCM4712KFB wireless networking chipset, which has a 200 MHz MIPS processor built in. The audio is handled by a Texas Instruments Burr-Brown PCM2705 16-bit digital-to-analog converter.

An updated version (MB321LL/A, model A1264) supporting the faster 802.11 Draft-N draft specification and operation in either of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, with almost all other features identical, was introduced by Apple in March 2008. The revised unit includes an 802.11a/n (5 GHz) mode, which allows adding Draft-N to an existing 802.11b/g network without disrupting existing connections, while preserving the increased throughput that Draft-N can provide. Up to 10 wireless units can connect to this AirPort Express.

The AirPort Express uses an audio connector that combines a 3.5 mm minijack socket and a mini-TOSLINK optical digital transmitter, allowing connection to an external digital-to-analog converter (DAC) or amplifier with internal DAC. Standard audio CDs ripped in iTunes into Apple Lossless format streamed to the AirPort Express will output a bit-for-bit identical bitstream when compared to the original CD (provided any sound enhancement settings in iTunes are disabled). DTS-encoded CDs ripped to Apple Lossless audio files — which decode as digital white noise in iTunes — will play back correctly when the AirPort Express is connected via TOSLINK to a DTS-compatible amplifier–decoder. This is limited to 16-bit and 44.1 kHz when streaming from iTunes. Any higher quality content, such as high fidelity audio that uses up to 24-bit and/or 192 kHz will be truncated down to 16-bit and 44.1 kHz.

The audio output feature of the AirPort Express on a system running Mac OS X Lion or earlier can only be used to wirelessly stream audio files from within iTunes to an attached stereo system. It cannot be used to output the soundtrack of iTunes video content to an attached stereo.OS X Mountain Lion introduced a feature to output system-wide audio directly to AirPort Express. This allows output of the audio of protected video content within iTunes, and also correctly maintains the audio sync with the image displayed on-screen. Video is synced with output audio when playing the video through an AirPort Express if the video is in a format supported by QuickTime Player (such as HTML 5 video in Safari etc.).

CAR PARK

Tbilisi International Airport has two car parks with 325 cars capacity for the ordinary passengers and  CIP passengers.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

T&G Coffee Shop
T&G Coffee Shop is located at the departure side at the ground level.  This outlet is coffee shop base that offers drinks, coffee and tea throughout the day. You can taste the selected sandwiches, cakes and bakeries in self service style while waiting for your flight.
The name of the café comes from Turkey & Georgia’s first letters and is open between 08:00-23:00 hours.

Cappadocia
Cappadocia  is located at the arrival side at the ground level.  This outlet is set in magnificent Cappadocia place décor. It is servicing local and international beverages, hot or cold snacks, tea and coffees in a casual and released atmosphere. 

DUTY FREE

There are two seperate duty free stores in the new terminal building of the Tbilisi International Airport, as of inauguration 7th. February 2007.
The stores both remain in the Departures Terminal of the airport, the Main Store serving a general concept of main duty free products such as perfume, cosmetics, liquor, cigarettes, chocolates, Turkish delight as well as other products, while another store serves as a specialist for wine offering a great variety of the famous Teliani brand.

LOUNGE SERVICES
There are 2 CIP lounges (Arrival and Departure) and 1 Business Lounge in Tbilisi International Airport. All lounges are parts of the services served by ‘primeclass’ CIP Service, provided by TAV. As a complete services package, ‘primeclass’ is designed to meet the most demanding expectations of their guests.

TOILETS & SPECIAL ROOMS GROUND FLOOR
(Greeters & Meeters Hall) There are 3 ladies’ rooms, 3 men’s rooms, 2 toilets for the handicapped, 2 infant care rooms and 2 cleaning rooms. GROUND FLOOR (Baggage Claim) There is 1 ladies’ room, 1 men’s room, 1 toilet for the handicapped, 1 cleaning rooms and 1 infant-care room.

The pharmacy in the Tbilisi International Airport is operated by PSP. It is located on the ground floor and is open round-the-clock.

Models

Обзор Airport Extreme

Внешне маршрутизатор представляет собой башню белого цвета, которая существенно отличается от того, что мы привыкли видеть в роли Wi-Fi-роутера. Airport Extreme прекрасен по дизайну и неизменно богат функционально внутри — прежде всего, в нём предусмотрено целых шесть антенн для работы в диапазоне 2,4 и 5 ГГц, работать он может одновременно в обеих из них.

Главное, на чём сделали упор компоновщики— высокая скорость передачи данных, которая обеспечивается поддержкой сетей 802.11ac, работающих до 4 раз быстрее, чем 802.11n. Вышеупомянутые антенны ещё лучше влияют на скорость, но, помимо этого, они обеспечивают прекрасную зону покрытия сигнала и в буквальном смысле направляют свои «волны» в то место, где к ним подключено оборудование — это возможно благодаря функции адаптивного формирования луча.

Для такой мощной работы, несомненно, требуется отличная система вентиляции — и она действительно предусмотрена внутри Airport Extreme, но, что приятно, работает она довольно тихо и не раздражает юзера, находящегося поблизости.

Возвращаясь к внешнему оформлению, которое отличается стильным минимализмом, целесообразно обратить внимание на функциональные особенности Airport Extreme. Так, на передней части предусмотрен индикатор работы — простой и незаметный огонёк горит зелёным, когда роутер работает хорошо, при возникновении неполадок становится красным

На задней панели Airport Extreme предусмотрены следующие разъёмы:

• В самом низу расположен разъём для сетевого кабеля — практичное решение, поскольку он не будет мешать при работе с остальными гнёздами.
• Выше его расположен WAN-разъём для подключения интернета.
• Далее размещён порт USB для соединения с принтером или жёстким диском — в предыдущей версии устройства ещё не было возможности подключить внешний накопитель.
• Три гигабитных порта для подключения оборудования через формат LAN, которые обеспечат высокую скорость передачи данных по локальной сети.

Помимо указанных составляющих, сбоку есть небольшая кнопка для сброса настроек, которая по умолчанию присутствует во всех сетевых роутерах.

Important Information for Passengers

According to the Civil Aviation Security Regulations, you are not allowed to carry:

In your luggage:

— Explosives (Gunpowder, firework, signal flash, etc.);
— Flammables (Solvent, paint, thinner, lighter, etc.);
— Solid or liquid chemicals.

In your hand luggage:

— All items listed above;
— Sharp, Cutting, Sharp-pointed and Blunt-pointed articles (Sword, Axe, Knife, Corkscrew, Scissors, Nail File, Nail, etc.);
— Fire Guns (Pistol, rifle, etc.).

According to the Civil Aviation Security Regulations, you are allowed to:

• Have in your checked-in baggage  alcohol drinks, not more then 70% of alcohol contents, factory-made not more then 5L. per passenger;
• Carry in your hand luggage medication and diet items, including infant’s food to be used during flight with you; you may be asked to demonstrate approve of necessity of such items during your flight;
• Have in your hand luggage only a constricted quantity of liquid substances– not more then 100 ml. each and it should be placed into transparent plastic frequentative (with sticker zips) bags no more then 1 L. per passenger;
• Purchase liquids (drinks, perfumes) in the Airport airside shops (Duty Free) or on board of the Aircraft. In case they are sold in special packing, do not open them before they are checked for flight safety reason in the Security Control Points – otherwise they will be confiscated. In case you are flying via any European Union State Airports do not open the package before you reach the final destination point.
• All these substances and items can be taken in addition to the quantity (maximum 1 L.) that you already carry in your hand baggage.

In order to identify liquid substances while performing the control you should:
— Show all the liquids you have with you to be checked at the Aviation Security Control Points;
— Take off the jacket and/or coat – they are checked separately parallel to your check;
— Remove PC notebook and other large size electrical devices – they are also checked separately parallel to your personal check.
